Job Description
Responsibilities
- Handle all purchasing activities, including PO follow-up, price negotiation, quotation, order processing;
- Responsible for the inventory control and purchasing plan for all materials;
- Maintain good sourcing network of relevant suppliers to maximize procurement efficiency;
- Deal with clients and vendors, make recommendation for corrective actions to address possible problems;
- To implement, monitor and review internal control and purchasing systems in accordance with the Group’s policies
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience and at least 2 years at supervisory level;
- Diploma or above with certificate in Purchasing / Merchandising is preferred;
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, mature, self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work independently;
- Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and Purchasing System;
- Previous Hotel opening experience will be an advantage;
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Putonghua knowledge would be an advantage;
- Candidate with less experiences will be considered as Assistant Purchasing Manager
