Job Responsibilities:

? Responsible for leading the Purchasing function of production materials at the factory.

?Streamline the supply chain and drive for continuous cost savings of the total cost through comprehensive sourcing, commodity and supply chain strategies development

? Engage in supplier selection, certification & quality management

?Work closely with materials planning and project team to ensure prompt MRP execution and to handle other supply chain issues to meet customer delivery requirements

? Drive and lead the purchasing team to comply to the company purchasing policies

? Vendor Managed Inventory implementation & alternative source development

?Lead the team in sourcing and assessing new qualified suppliers for new project RFQ in the global and local context, so as to win new businesses

? Supplier performance management in the areas of quality, cost, delivery and technology

?Lead & train the team to achieve targets results in respect of project engineering, sourcing, supplier selection and certification, procurement and supplier performance management.

Requirements:

? Aged 35 and above. Possess highest business ethics & integrity

? Degree holder in Business Administration/Engineering/Purchasing & Supply Chain Management

?Over 15 years solid experience in the Sourcing & Purchasing of high-tech electronics industry in sizeable or multinational manufacturing companies, of which at least 8 years at senior managerial level a MUST. Prior EMS purchasing experience preferred

?Good components and product knowledge with proven record in handling electronics OEM/ODM projects in areas of sourcing, supplier selection and certification, purchasing and supplier performance management

? Excellent Negotiation and communication skills with suppliers and internal departments

?Hands-on, detailed and possess good analytical and problem solving skills. Energetic & resourceful, in addition to good mentor to the subordinates

? Result-oriented with strong leadership and able to work under pressure

? Good command of English both oral & writing, as frequent conference calls with overseas suppliers are necessary
