Job Description
Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Work with other departments to develop relations with key vendors and suppliers
- Ensure all relations with suppliers are adequately documented through contracts and bidding process, in collaboration with Legal and Internal Control,
- Identify new buying opportunities, implement RFP / bidding processes and regularly communicate on its results and achievements,
- Working as a team member, proactively work with all departments and analyze their purchasing needs and suggest initiatives aimed at addressing them,
- Coordinate Asia Pacific/Central initiatives from the headquarters, develop a culture of best practices to be shared across zones,
- Identifying areas of efficiency improvement in purchasing processes and synergies across teams in vendor selection,Beside these core activities, coordinate some transversal initiatives such as buying tools implementation, supplier’s performance evaluation, social responsibility of suppliers, and training related initiatives,
- Work with other department to identify potential cost efficiencies,
- Implement, coordinate and assess an annual process of supplier evaluation.
- Travel is required.
Requirements:
- 8+ years’ experience in major spend of indirect procurement
- Luxury Retail industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- Good quantitative, analytical, and computer skills
- Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
