PURCHASING MANAGER

 

The Purchasing Manager will orchestrate the flow of goods being procured, purchased and received into the hotel.  This indivudual will control the inventory of goods for all areas of operation.  They will also be key in ensuring the quality and cost of items brought into the hotel are to exacting standards.

What you will be doing:

• Implement and enforce sound purchasing policies, systems and procedures
• Champion the hotel procurement system
• Negotiate prices and place daily orders of goods
• Manage a department of receivers and storeroom clerks to work in harmony with all departments within the hotel
   

Your experience and skills include:

• Experience in purchasing in a hotel environment
• Experiance in the usage of procurement software
• Strong administration skills supported by a good knowlege of techonolgy systems 
• Have an exisiting network and relationship with local Seattle and Washington State vendors
