Purchasing Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for defining the Company Sourcing Strategy for Superior the company on a global basis, and directing tactical purchasing initiatives. Specifically, this role has overall responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating the activities of buyers, purchasing engineers, keep a smooth cooperation & communication with cross departments involved in purchasing materials, products, and services and sales.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Ability to develop, implement and manage strategic sourcing initiatives and on-going program maintenance.

2. Execute strategies and coordinate all aspects of procurement negotiations and contract management for suppliers.

3. Local Supplier base development and maintain supplier relationships that support business objectives.

4. Conduct and execute strategic sourcing process, negotiate supplier agreements and manage supplier performance.

5. Coordinates with other departments to determine materials needed and schedules to be met.

6. Consults with business clients to understand short term and long term sourcing needs.

7. Develop strategic sourcing plans to align with business client strategies Manage Strategic Sourcing Projects.

8. Drive value for the clients (cost savings, reduction in EBIT, capital reduction, or other key client metrics).

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor degree majored in Mechanical or Electrical Automation/Engineering

2. 5 year's similar working experience in capital investment industries. Prefer minimum of 5 years of working experience in Die-casting industry.

3. Preferred Certifications (any one of the following):

1)Certified International Purchasing Manager (CPPM)

2)Certified International Sourcing Manager (CISM)

3) Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP)

4)Member of International Purchasing and Supply Chain Institute

4. Clear understanding and subsequent deployment of the strategic direction. Excellent financial analysis, sourcing and continuous process improvement skills. Experience in contractor/supplier selection and evaluation procedures.

5. Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources

6. Production and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods

7. Proficient in MS office

8. Excellent business English

9. Ability to effectively communicate internally and externally representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources.

10. Understand the waste disposal policy and related disposal places according to the requirements of ISO

11. Demonstrate decisive leadership ability. Provide subordinates with the resources needed to attain results
