Key Responsibilities


1. Manage all purchases for consumables, capital and maintenance service requirements according to needs of the institution, meeting annual objectives set
2. Responsible for material sourcing, supplier partnership development, expedite purchase and vendor payment
3. Responsible for new vendor development & qualification and new vendor code setup in ERP system.
4. Assist Purchasing Manager to carry out major procurement programs, projects including the signing of procurement contract and feedback summary of the work
5. Response for Commercial category sourcing, negotiation, contracting and supplier management and especially support Marketing on planning of promotion goods (POS/PPG), advertising, media and sales marketing events
6. Establish annual/term/monthly purchase plan based on needs and communicate with Purchasing Manager, Bursar or other team members as appropriate
7. Ensure all purchase requests are approved and within the allocated budget by liaising with Finance department
8. Maintain all records of purchases, quotations, pricing bids and deliveries to ensure procurement compliance
9. Setup and maintain the pricing benchmark database regularly and make cost driven analysis per each category purchasing items/services
10. Other duties as assigned by the Purchasing manager or Bursar


Job Qualifications

Education: ? College graduated or above
Major: ? Business Administration or related subject
Language: ? Fluent written and spoken English
Working Experience: Preferably 2 years customer service experience, ideally in a context that includes international staff
Management Experience: Experience of purchasing management, project or facility management is advantageous

Experience of working in educational setting ?preferred ?
Fluency in English and Chinese ?
Outstanding ability to interact in a positive and friendly way with all staff through effective Customer service orientation and good interpersonal skills ?
The ability to priorities workload and meet the tight deadlines ?
Project Management skill, Ability to multi-task and prioritise ?
Skills in information collecting, data processing, data analysis, and reporting; ?
Excellent in SAP, Excel and Power Point, CPSM, PMP, CSCP, FMP preferred
