Job Description

1. Work closely with Procument and Engineer team to develop sourcing strategy for new vendor/product and continue support for existing products.

2. Work with Design and Engineering team and based on the design specification to do cost estimate from Concept Stage to Design Freeze stage and provide value cost reduction solution to ensure the project cost is on Target.

3. Follow up the new product development according to project milestone and control the cost to ensure the cost is within target during development.

4. Work with Vendor for project quotation and negotiate with Vendor in order to meet/under our target.

5. Review vendor cost rate and validate them and maintain internal cost sheet rate.

6. Achieve agreed savings and process optimization and improvement.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or related degree required; preference for Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
2. Above 10 years of working experience in quotation and sourcing related functions, and candidate must have over 5 years’ knowledge of sourcing.
3. Good understanding of cost drivers for the components.
4. Strong management skills to work across all functional team and a good team player.
5. Good mindset ,negotiate skill, work with passion and motivation.

6. Fluent English writing and listening is MUST and fluent english oral is PLUS.
