Ferplast is an Italian company looking for a Purchasing and Logistics Specialist to join their Shanghai office in Jing’an district.
He/She will be will be responsible for the suppliers relationship management, sourcing, contract negotiation, logistics processes. Range of products: pet accessories/ fabrics.

Main Purchasing Activities:
• Manage, develop and asses the existing Chinese suppliers in order to increase the quality and service level of the acquired goods, while improving the performance in terms of logistics
• Ensure the achievement of cost savings target
• Analyse and negotiate the commercial offers and drafting contracts
• Source new suppliers in China
• Work closely to the Italian Headquarter (Purchasing and Quality Department)

Main Logistics Activities:
• Oversee logistics between China- Italy in support of the Italian HQ
• Liaise with external logistics companies to ensure smooth and timely delivery
• Coordinate with HQ and suppliers for the export documentation exchange
• Arrange the volume of shipments
• Monitor quality standards of Chinese suppliers
