Q&FS Coordinator

  • Managing the development, implementation and maintenance of the Quality and Food Safety, and MARS standards as they apply to the factory site
  • Ensure conformance to all company, legal and regulatory requirements including ISO 9001, ISO/FSSC 22000, FSMA and MARS Standards
  • Support the continuous improvement of the QMS and MARS QMP and other mandatory standards
  • Making recommendations regarding improvement and sustainability of the quality and food safety culture
  • Support the compliance to all government legal and regulatory requirements required, by the country
  • Support Internal and External audit functions
  • Initiating activities and actions improving quality management systems in cooperation with all department (CI, Commercial, Technical, Operations, R&D)

 

What are we looking for?

  • Knowledge of computer and MS Office
  • Knowledge of Quality & Food Safety Systems
  • 1 -3 years experience in food manufacturing industry
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • High interpersonal and communication skills
  • Specialized education - food technology, commodity science, quality management, chemistry or related (preferred but not required)

 

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Active approach to work safety and creating a safe work environment
  • Provide input and making quality decisions for non-compliant products in accordance with applicable procedures and specifications
  • Participate in the Daily Panel, analyzing and communicating its results
  • Organizing and managing work groups to improving product quality control
  • Support & or initiate root cause analysis activities that support the QMS and food safety systems
  • Lead the Food Safety & food defence teams 
  • Ensure all QMS reporting, management review and audit reports are developed and submitted on time
  • Maintaining general communication on the status of the QMS and escalate gaps to management to ensure prompt resolution product quality for the factory.
  • Participate in regular meetings with main markets, to follow-up on main customer complaints and to share key quality initiatives driven in the factory.
  • Track, identify and communicate quality and food safety non-conformances to Management; prepare respective reports
  • Work in conjunction with complaints specialist and PPI to identify trends and areas for improvement in product quality
  • Support the consumer complaint process
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
