We are looking for a talented and motivated QA Engineer who will work as part of a distributed agile team testing the applications in the SDL Contenta Publishing Suite. Required skills

• 2,5+ years in software testing
• Degree in computer science or related field
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes
• Experience in manual functional and non-functional testing
• Understanding of web applications: JavaScript, AJAX, cookies/sessions, browser differences, web servers, REST APIs
• Experience installing and testing mobile apps (Android, iOS)
• Basic experience working with Oracle, MS SQL databases
• Experience working in Linux and Windows environments
• Understanding of XML data format
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (preferably Scrum)
• Team-player with strong interpersonal skills comfortable working as part of a distributed team
• Desire and ability to learn and tackle new or unfamiliar technologies and methodologies
• Intermediate level of English 

As a plus

• Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, VMWare
• Experience with Performance testing

Responsibilities

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases
• Prepare test environment by installing and configuring the software under test
• Perform manual testing of new features in multiple platforms

• Perform manual testing of mobile apps

• Bug reporting and bug tracking
• Achieve goals as part of a Scrum team in order to deliver functionality, enhancements, and fixes
• Build strong working relationships internally by demonstrating the team values in the Agile / Scrum process and collaborating cross-functionally to solve problems
• Be part of a continuous improvement atmosphere, proactively suggesting improvements to the website design and development processes.
