Required skills

• 3+ years in software testing
• Degree in computer science or related field
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes
• Experience in functional and non-functional testing
• Understanding of web applications: JavaScript, AJAX, cookies/sessions, browser differences, web servers, REST APIs
• Experience in test automation (Java)
• Knowledge and experience in API testing (preferable Rest-Assured)
• Experience working with MS SQL databases
• Experience working in Linux and Windows environments
• Understanding of XML data format
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (preferably Scrum)
• Team-player with strong interpersonal skills comfortable working as part of a distributed team
• Ability to learn and tackle new or unfamiliar technologies and methodologies
• Strong written and spoken English

As a plus

• Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, VMWare
• Experience in UI automation with Selenium WebDriver, Junit
• Experience in creation of automation frameworks from scratch
• Familiarity with various continuous integration processes and tools (Jenkins, Docker, Git)
• Experience with applications with microservices architecture and cloud deployments

 

Responsibilities

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test suites with test cases
• Configure test environments
• Perform manual functional testing in multiple platforms
• Create new and maintain existing automated tests (UI, API)
• Bug reporting and bug tracking
• Achieve goals as part of a Scrum team in order to deliver functionality, enhancements, and fixes
• Build strong working relationships internally by demonstrating the team values in the Agile / Scrum process and collaborating cross-functionally to solve problems
• Be part of a continuous improvement atmosphere, proactively suggesting improvements to the website design and development processes.
