We are looking for an experienced and talented Software Test Engineer who’s proficient in the testing of enterprise-scale software. You will work as part of a distributed agile team developing and testing the RWS software. 

You will help define and deliver quality new features for our products and services. The fast-paced agile development cycle will require you to use several testing approaches, write test automation code and work closely with your team as part of the iteration. 

Requirements 

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or equivalent 

• 1+ year of hands-on testing experience preferably in web application testing 

• Knowledge and experience in creating tests using an object-oriented programming language (preferably C#) 

• Excellent analytical skills, being able to design and implement suitable tests 

• Strong knowledge of English (reading, writing, and speaking) 

Will be a plus 

• Experience or strong theoretical background in API Test Automation 

• Experience with performance testing 

• Experience with unit testing concepts and tools (NUnit, MSTest) 

• Experience with Selenium WebDriver 

• Experience with testing of web services 

• Experience with Virtual Machines (Hyper-V, VMWare) 

• Understanding of Agile development process (SCRUM) 

• Understanding of XML, XSD, XPath, JSON 

• Understanding or practical working skills with Oracle and MS SQL SERVER. 

Responsibilities 

• Design, write and execute test cases and test plans 

• Plan, design and create automated API and UI tests 

• Design and execute performance tests 

• Configure environments for testing and development purposes 

• Work with the developers to resolve issues 

• Encourage the use of appropriate industry-standard best practices and processes
