Job Purpose

Peloton's Music Quality Engineering team is looking for an expert, well-rounded quality assurance engineer to work on our Music apps. In this role, you will have responsibility for the quality of the products and work closely with Software developers, Product Management. Help cultivate a quality attitude, mentor and advocate for quality while assisting teams with software testing practices.

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop the test plans that cover functional, integration, system, performance, stress, and regression testing scenarios.
• Perform functional, integration and system testing.
• Create test reports, analyze data, summarize information, and present results to the relevant audience.
• Work closely with the developers and other team members as well as help developers to identify problems efficiently.
• Work with teams to make testing an integral part of the software development process.
• Assist in driving adoption of best practices in testing and maintainability.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in software QA.
• Familiarity with device testing like iOS.
• Exceptional test aptitude and expertise in formal and informal testing techniques as well as quality reporting.
• Exception capability on troubleshooting / debugging.
• Experience in using code repositories (Git, JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools).
• Experience working with cross-functional scrum teams and are excellent team players.
• Ability to accomplish complex engineering tasks independently.

Other valuable skills:

• Understanding of automation frameworks so they can make use of the automation tools during the process.

Actual rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to: position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.
