What is this role?

An exciting opportunity support SDL’s Contenta Publishing Suite – we’re looking for a teammate who is passionate about finding bugs, creating tools to cut back on manual testing and is excited to see their work make an impact on a global scale. You will help define and deliver quality new features for our products and services. The fast-paced agile development cycle will require you to use several testing approaches, write test automation code and work closely with your team as part of the iteration.

Skills and Qualifications:

1+ Years Test automation experience (Java)
3+ Years of hands-on testing experience
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and testing documentation
Working knowledge of setting up test automation frameworks
Working knowledge of multiple test automation tools
Experience with context-based, exploratory or scenario-based testing techniques
Understanding of web applications: JavaScript, AJAX, cookies/sessions, browser differences, web servers, REST APIs
Knowledge and experience in API testing (preferable Rest-Assured)
Experience working in Linux and Windows environments
Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
Team player with experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
The ability to install and set up the software in a virtual environment (preferably experience with AWS or Azure)
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a related discipline
Intermediate level of English

Desired Skills:

Practical experience writing scripts (preferably using Perl)
Experience with Git, IntelliJ IDEA
Experience with Jenkins
Experience with performance testing
Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, VMWare
Familiarity with Selenium WebDriver, JUnit
Experience with applications with microservices architecture and cloud deployments
