How will you make an impact?

Thermo Fisher Scientific is currently recruiting a QA Engineer/QA Chemist for fixed term position to work as part of IVD Regulation project at Vantaa mainly on the Analyzers & Automation product range.

What will you do?

• Participate into IVDR project (new IVD Regulation, Regulation (EU) 2017/746)
• Analyze post market surveillance data of products and prepare reports to monitor proactively experiences gained on the market, minimize risks and ensure safety.
• Compile other technical documentation as needed.
• Report work progress to identified stakeholders according to agreed timeframes.
• Comply with relevant regulatory requirements and Quality Systems Requirements including relevant SOPs and Protocols.

How will you get here? (education, experience, skills & abilities)

• M.Sc. degree or Bachelor’s Degree in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, clinical chemistry or engineering
• Experience in working in in vitro diagnostic industry (or other regulated environment) is beneficial
• Attention to detail in setting, conducting, and documenting; records keeping in compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. IVD Directive/Regulation; ISO 13485) is an advantage
• Ability to work proactively as part of a cross-functional team and have good time management skills
• Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English.
