Main Accountabilities

Develop and lead the implementation of quality management system to ensure that

  • Quality standards are achieved
  • Customer requirements and expectations for product quality are fully met
  • Operations and products are fully compliant to regulations

Responsibilities

  • Steer and monitor the execution of QMS
  • Manage material and product release/block.
  • Coordinate root cause analysis of major quality issues. Lead trouble-shooting activities.
  • Organize and prepare regular management reviews of quality.
  • Set procedure, standard and monitoring plan for materials, finished products, process and hygiene.
  • Establish quality culture, keep improving staff awareness of quality
  • Establish quality precaution and quality issues management system for the crisis management of whole product chain.
  • Manage and control budget of department
  • Develop and coaching people in Quality department and ensure proper succession plan
  • Lead for continuous improvement of quality to reduce complaint, delight consumer and customer, reduce quality incident and non-quality cost.

Requirements

  • University degree in food science, food technology, or related discipline. Minimum 8 years of quality management experience in the food industry.
  • Experienced with setting up program and process.
  • Good interpersonal skill, able to communicate well within a multicultural environment.
  • Strong personality, able to work under high pressure.
  • Able to work in a systematic way.
  • Proper coaching skill
  • l Strong leadership on courage, convincing people and result focus.
  • l Able to read, write, speak English
  • l Strong ownership.
