QA Performance Engineer 

Who we are, what we are doing? 
 
•    Language Cloud is a SaaS platform developed by RWS that exposes as a service the best of our language capabilities and of the language expertise that made us leaders in the translation industry. 
 
•    We are building Language Cloud in a microservice architecture using Java and C#. Our engineers are familiar with multiple build and deploy pipelines. We implement Continuous Delivery by using tools like Chef, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Nexus and deploying our services on a hybrid cloud offered by AWS. 
 
What you’ll be doing: 
•    Review the application requirements, functional design and architecture to come up with comprehensive performance test strategy 
•    Conduct Proof of Concept for engineering and testing tools, and demonstrate feasibility of implementing the solution, with business justifications and/or value-add to the organization 
•    Provide/support tuning recommendations. Work with development teams to test and implement recommendations 
•    Be individual contributors capable of taking up tasks from start to end with minimal assistance 
•    Determines requirements for test environments, test data, test infrastructure, and tools and coordinates with Project Teams 
•    Provide regular summary status. Heap Dump and Thread Dump analysis 
•    Provide testing assistance to the product teams for the creation and execution of performance and load tests for newly developed functionality 
 
What we’re looking for: 
•    Relevant experience in performance testing and analysis in Linux and Windows environments. Basic Shell scripting 
•    Experience with load testing tools like JMeter, WebLoad, Load Runner. 
•    Experience with API performance/load testing 
•    Experiences on Performance Engineering, profiling and tuning experience, including experience working with application-performance-monitoring tools such DynaTrace, AppDynamics etc. 
•    Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a complex and dynamic environment 
•    Strong written, oral & presentation skills 
•    Ability to write SQL queries, SQL programming (basic)
•    Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues at all levels including operating system, component, database, network 
 
What makes you a great fit: 
•    3+ years of relevant work experience conducting performance testing of highly-scalable applications 
•    Excellent technical, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills 
•    Ability to analyze architectures, point out performance bottlenecks, limitations, optimizations and resolutions. 
•    Understanding of performance monitoring counters such as response time, throughput, latency, and memory 
•    Should have good understanding of overall process and functional flow
