JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position mainly assists Zebco’s corporate headquarters with its supplier base in Asia. The position reports through the Quality Manager for Asia who in turn reports to the Quality Manager for Zebco. However, they will also work closely with other representatives from Zebco’s Quality, Product Development, and Sourcing groups. Significant travel (40% to 70%) may be required to visit vendors through out NingBo and DongGuan area in China.

The main duties will be to:

• Perform physical audits of products and processes.
• Generate inspection report and Maintain internal quality record.
• Visit suppliers to assess and ensure they are meeting the product requirements.
• Drive and keep tracking inspection process improvements with the supplier base.
• Drive correcting issues of current product with the supplier base.
• Assist / Train suppliers in developing quality practices, processes, and philosophy.
• Assist High End factory to perform physical audits of products

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND:

* 2-5 years experience with consumer products. (Experience in small mechanical assemblies, injection molding, and/or die-casting * A mechanical, manufacturing, or quality background.

• A basic understanding of mechanical components and mechanisms and inspection criteria.
• A basic knowledge of process control techniques is a plus.
• Must have good interpersonal skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin. English is a strong plus.
• Potentially required to travel an estimated 40% to 70% of the time.
• Must be able to travel freely within China.
• A self starter that is able to work independently

NOTES:

Training will be provided at Zebco’s Kunshan Oceanview factory in China. Regular visit per quarter to Oceanview factory may be required for HR and company update.
