Job Description
THE COMPANY :
- French company
- Specialized in design and production of luxurious cosmetics & beverage packaging
- Main market : French & European luxurious cosmetics & beverage brands
- Production : Dongguan self-own factory & various outsourced factories in China
- We are looking for QC MANAGER – with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Manage the Quality Control team of 10 members; and train them to improve continuously dept efficiency
- Control subcontractors like external laboratories and 3rd party control
- Manage Social compliance officer and work to improve suppliers social level
- Implement continuous improvement plans for quality, productivity with our key supplier factories
- Quality Control
- Ensure quality control efficiency in a day to day basis
- Manage and monitor performance Quality control team, train people, improve their abilities
- Control cost and budget for the department
- Propose and approve 3rd parties suppliers for Quality
- Propose corrective action plan for suppliers which are under expected level
- Support teams (purchasers or production executives or engineers) to solve quality issues
- Continuous Improvement in factories
- Participate in defining the improvement plan for factories
- Define with Quality Director the improvement plan methodology
- Make audits and implement Corrective Action Plan in factories
- Propose solutions and help factories to implement actions
- Sustainable Development
- Manage social compliance officer and train him to improve efficiency
- Maintain and improve with social officer mappings and lists to manage the supplier panel
- Help punctually for factory audit or corrective actions implementation
- Report to European Director
- Work in ShenZhen office (can daily travel, 10 mins walk from Lo Wu); and travel occasionally to other China cities
- 5 days work
- Annual leave : 12-15 days
