DESCRIBE THE ROLE:

• Setting quality standards for the factories, following the company requirements

• Monitoring the quality of the product throughout the various stages of production

• At lease 5 years of quality control working experience in bags / accessories
• Strong knowledge of bag construction, materials, components
• Strong knowledge of all materials used in bags and accessories
• Strong knowledge of material printing and decorating techniques
• Highly organized with
• strong communication skills,
• Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Conduct in-line inspections on the sewing line/finishing department for each PO, this includes random measuring of finished goods - then issue a report to Merchandising team

• Ensure enforcement of the needle and metal contamination policy

• Maintain strong relationships with our factories and liaise, and keep communication strong internally between DG office & headquarter

MUST HAVE:

• Passionate to drive quality and product integrity

• Previous quality control experience focusing on the inspection of bags to the agreed AQL level standards

• Experience working with global brands

• Strong ability to self-motivate and use initiative

• Analytical and logical mind-set

• A natural preference towards attention to detail

• Computer literate - confident using the Microsoft Suite

• Available to travel frequently
