Job Title: QC Specialist – Animal Nutrition & Health

Report to: QA Manager – Animal Nutrition & Health HN

The Challenge:

• To assist to develop and maintain a quality management system to ensure ANH premix products compliance with relevant standards and regulations, in order to satisfy customer requirements, meet all legal and regulatory demands and continuously improve products and operations.
• Consolidate the latest national, industry and enterprise standards with supplier into our raw material specification for all premix plants.

The Position:

• Responsible for QC daily analysis including raw material, packing material phantom and finished goods on local site to provide timely and accurate analytical information to support and improve production. To ensure analysis result input in SAP system timely and correctly.
• Act as user for SAP QM of ANH products, responsible for daily operation of SAP QM for local premix products.
• Assist for renewal licenses & permits, Responsible for product registered code application, and support any other requirements from authorities related to ANH premix products.
• Act as backup of handling of every production deviation and release every lot of finished goods in PCS system.
• Responsible for effective running of local DCC (documentation control central), and keep all valid documents at each station.
• Responsible for checking of label content after QA maintaining in system for production.
• Assist for handling of quality customer complaints for local ANH premix products.
• Assist for handling of returned goods and nonconforming products to determine whether materials and finished goods can be used/released or not.
• Implement an annual QA plan for ANH premix, and act as routine quality inspection for local ANH premix plant.
• Assist for quality data filing including NCR/EMR/RGR/CAR etc., and follow up of CAR completion.
• Assist for implementation of local compliance audits (supplier, authority).
• Assist for arrangement of validation of key process/equipment/facilities.
• Responsible for making all reagents, reference sample and spare part available for QC daily activity and manage all reference samples especially for vitamins in good condition.
• Responsible for maintaining all instrument including HPLC and ICP in in proper way and work close with outsourcing for consulting.
• Responsible for registration of precursor chemicals (Chloroform, Sulfuric acid, Mercuric chloride and Mercuric acetate, nitric acid) to outside Public Security Bureau.
• Responsible for calibration of all instruments done by internally and external authorized test center.
• Responsible for raising Oos (Out of specification) process in trackwise system to conduct QC lab investigation for any deviation.
• Responsible for handing of non-conformance material cases, e.g. communicate with supplier for some failed cases, check analysis method and instrument, support QA for final solution.
• Implement an annual QA plan for ANH premix, and act as routine quality inspection for local ANH premix plant.
• Maintenance of premix plant accreditation licenses such as ISO22000\ISO9001 and HACCP.
• Responsible for safety of QC lab, include personal safety, health, environment and safety machine running normally.
• Obey company SHE, OH and ER procedures strictly. Report incidents/accident/near misses timely. Create and maintain a safe and healthy working environment to ensure compliance with safety requirements within the Quality Assurance part

The Ideal:

• Bachelor level in Sciences (majored in chemicals or pharmaceuticals)
• Prior to experience in lab (Laboratory experience related to microbe is preferred)
