Job Description
Description:
- Conduct quality check on incoming materials that are within specification via visual and measurement test.
- Approving of in process production and suggest adjustments to production supervisor to ensure productions are within specifications
- Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests returning products for rework; confirming re-work
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarising re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience in inspection of fabrication and machining parts.
- Able to read machining and/ or fabrication drawings
- Able to understand GD&T
- Experience in using measuring instruments like CMM, height gauge, etc.
- Qualification in welding NDT will be a plus
Details:
- Salary: $1,600 - $1,800
- Location: Tuas
- Working Hours: 44 hours + OT
