QC Technician I

Job Description
What will you do?
- Perform Raw Material sampling and inspection of components and chemicals including gases.
- Drafting/revising specifications, SOPs, training documents, providing support for investigations, etc.
- Perform Raw Material sampling and inspection
- General lab support functions such as ordering of lab supplies, managing biohazard/chemical waste, operating glassware, and attending meetings.
- Perform inventory management.
How will you get here?
Education
- Associates Degree in a science related field minimally required; bachelor degree preferred.
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in a regulated laboratory environment, preferably in a pharmaceutical or cGMP environment
- Raw materials sampling experience preferred.
- Basic technical writing skills (e.g SOPs, training documents, etc).
- Able to aseptically gown and/or sterile gown as needed and work within environmental clean rooms
- Ability to work independently on routine tasks, needing supervision or support to resolve complex issues
- Ability to use standard computer programs such a MS Excel, Word, and Access
