Key Purpose of the Job:

1. To carry out product inspection, to assure the shipped products to conform VF quality requirement and timely execution.

2. To provide quality guideline and technical advised to all CFA & Factory Assigned QC.

Key Area of Responsibility:

1. Follow VF established controls to ensure Salesman samples, Approval samples, and Pre-production samples meet all specifications.

2. Follow set approval reporting / tracking system for all the samples.

3. Samples evaluation.

4. Monitoring production closely and provide technical support when need to ensure quality meets specifications assuring complete customer satisfaction.

5. Trouble shooting – understand complete QC SOP of the factory and bridge the process disconnections when challenges to product quality identified.

6. Conduct Statistical audits.

7. Ensure all vendors follow VF’s Term of Engagement, Vendor Code of Conduct and other rules and regulations.

8. Communicating proactively, effectively and as often as necessary providing complete visibility to quality related matters to

all personnel in the QA and Merchandising Team.

9. Follow-up on all production and keep merchandising team informed the progress.

10. Share ideas, provide technical support and set procedures to improve quality levels & productivity.

11. Build strong relationship with factories to facilitate effective problem solving.

Minimum Relevant Experience: 5 or above years

Minimum Academic Requirement: Graduated from technical School / University

Major Subject: Clothing / Fashion / Textile / Quality Assurance

Required Special Skills:

1. Strong apparel technical background.

2. Understanding pattern, identify errors and providing suggestions for correction would be and added advantage
