Job Description Summary
The QA Technician works in the Quality Assurance department and performs general quality control quality assurance testing and review activities in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), company policy and safety regulations.Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following:
Product and raw material quarantine, inspection, and release;
Review and release of processed customer orders and records;
Review and release of production manufacturing records;
Environmental sampling
Ensures compliance to departmental procedures;
Understand and follow product drawings;
Lab cleaning;
General data / documentation review and archive.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Required
High school diploma, or equivalent
Basic computer skills
Ability to work all shifts and overtime
Preferred
College degree
Experience in a FDA regulated industry and/or QA environment
Proficient in the use of a PC with an intermediate level of keyboarding skills
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Proficiency in math is required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to read and interpret data to reach a sound decision; read, interpret, and relay department requirements to other areas or staff.

This position works in a normal office environment. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate. May include manufacturing or lab environment and certain work areas contain radioactive or hazardous chemicals.
**2nd shift- 2pm-10pm, training on 1st shift 8am-4:30pm. Must be able to work flexible hours including overtime and occasional weekends**
