Job Description
Location: EMEA Eaton Electrical Services organization in EMEA is covering 25 countries with 500+ employees, being a fast-growing business responsible of life cycle management of all Eaton Electrical products, systems and software portfolio. We are serving customers in Data centers, Utilities, Industries, Buildings, Marine, Healthcare segments by providing installation, commissioning, warranty care, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting services, spare parts, equipment life extension, modernization and end of life services. As we are continuing to expend and reinforce our organization, we are looking for a Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager, directly reporting to the General Director of EMEA Services, to drive and lead the Operational Excellence & Quality function, including Continuous Improvement, Lean and Six Sigma, Electrical Service Quality management, within EMEA Electrical Services organization. The role will be responsible to deploy EBS (Eaton Business System), establish performance metrics, set objectives and execute Continuous Improvement in all areas of the Services business, drive functional competency improvement and nurture cultural change through deployment of change management techniques. The role is responsible for ensuring CI is applied in the end to end (Customer-Eaton-Supplier) process for all central services functions (Sales, sales support, business development, product management, field operations, engineering, project management, bid & proposal) and country service units, including those processes linked to sales zones, country sales organizations and business units. As Quality manager play a crucial role in end-to-end business by ensuring that services meet set thresholds of acceptability. Defines Quality framework and plan, direct and coordinate quality assurance programs and formulate quality control policies. Improves the organization's efficiency and profitability by reducing waste. Ensure customer satisfaction is enhanced through the application of Lean/CI initiatives and the development/ deployment of robust standardized & sustainable processes throughout, aligned to Corporate Quality framework, policies & processes. The incumbent will work with all process owners to ensure that all CI & Quality process changes are approved by them, prior to implementation. Leads programs deployment (tools, processes) for Electrical Services organization enabling rollout in EMEA Service Clusters Your key deliverables: Lead the continuous improvement function for EMEA Electrical Services Business Unit driving functions to establish a culture of continuous improvement Develop and deploy Country Service Unit certification program Develop Project and Site Management certification program including curriculum design, experience requirements definition and evaluation process Support the facilitation of a training/ program on all elements of the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF), Six Sigma and Lean tools Utilize EBS tools to eliminate waste while driving customer satisfaction, cost reduction, and improved efficiency performance Lead the Quality Management function for EMEA Electrical Services to establish a culture of zero error & customer satisfaction improvement. Defines and develop the Electrical Service Quality Management Framework aligned to Eaton Quality Management standards Qualifications Required: University Degree or equivalent in engineering/manufacturing, technical or related field. MBA or equivalent highly desirable. 10 years + of experience, with min. 5 years of experience with progressive levels of responsibility in business services The candidate should be a certified expert in Lean or Six Sigma and have experience working with Manufacturing Excellence tools and processes Experience of applying of lean tools in an environment of high complexity dominated by IT lead transactions is an advantage. Experience in program management, deploying and coordinating the standard utilization of various tools and processes within a specific business Then we want to hear about you!
