Essential Responsibilities:

• Double check the test results, and discard or reject products, material and equipment not meeting specifications.
• Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products, and recommend necessary corrective actions.
• Training of quality, EHS and other services to laboratory staff.
• Verify conformance to specifications and protocols and report outcomes.
• Proofread and revise the relevant documents.
• Be responsible to devices’ calibration and maintenance.
• Mark items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status.
• Provide strong individual contributions in the context of achieving team goals.
• Comply with quality and EHS regulations & policies.
• Conduct any other tasks at request.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Qualification:

• Knowledge and understanding of acceptance activity for incoming, in-process, and final inspection requirements (as associated with job type/position) to ensure that a material or product conforms to its specification and out of specification items are properly handled.
• Knowledge and understanding of material concessions, segregation, control of non-conforming product; practices of chemical analysis, instrument calibration, chemical management and documentation management.
• Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.
• Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
• Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
• Good English speaking and writing skills.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree with paper making or specialty of chemical engineering or other related major.
• Proficient with software applications applicable to the job.
• Three years relevant experience in quality and/or inspection.
• Attention to details, and effective cross team communication.
