JOB PURPOSE

 

To ensure that products are conforming with the agreed quality standards and non-compliances are dealt with effectively to avoid delays and shipment of defective products to the customer  

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Inventory management performed with an RF gun to ensure accuracy of all stock moving through the Quality Department 
  • Ensure stock is physically and systematically moved into the designated quality bins daily so inspections can take place within a 48-hour time period
  • Ensure defective stock is segregated, scanned into a holding bin, and kept organized 
  • Ensure non-defective stock is released timely so it is available for customer orders
  • Organize stock in a manner so that materials can be located and retrieved efficiently by the team
  • Process Return to Vendor shipments to ensure quick resolution of defective stock
  • Maintain and keep a solid record of retail and pullback returns along with creating non-conformance reports to share with the region
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports to be shared with the Quality and Finance Teams 
  • Keep and maintain a neat and organized department by following LEAN practices
  • Ensure inventory levels are maintained by keeping stock at a defined minimal level
  • Ensure housekeeping is maintained daily.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
PERSONAL PROFILE

 

  • Experience working in a distribution environment preferred
  • Experience with RF equipment preferred
  • Experience with WMS preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word/Excel)
  • Excellent attention to details with strong follow through
  • Self-motivated, requiring little to no supervision
  • Results driven and takes accountability 
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule/overtime as needed (before/after shift/weekends)
  • Must be able to be on your feet for majority of the shift
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs 
  • Must be able to work in hot and cold conditions.
