Job Title:                     Quality Engineer

Reports to:     Senior Quality & Development Manager

Bigben Interactive is a major European leading company in video game accessories, for consoles and hand-held platforms, mobile phone accessories and audio products.

With distribution in Europe, Japan, China, other countries in Asia, Australia, Middle East and Latin America. Bigben Interactive is an expanding `global’ company.

Job Purpose:

The purpose of the role is to support the Senior Quality & Development Manager in continuous improvement of manufacturing partners and ensure the products supplied meet the customer’s & company’s specifications with on-time shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Improve the supplier’s quality process through factory audit, problem analysis, quality review and corrective action follow up.
• Work closely with product development team to ensure that products meet safety test standard, reliability test and company’s / customer’s requirements.
• Monitor production line in production pilot / mass production.
• Review and monitor QC inspection reports.
• Verify lab test reports.
• Proactive communications with Quality departments in European Head Quarter’s office.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical / Electronic Engineering or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a consumer electronic background. Candidate with gaming accessories background is highly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working for, or with, European companies/customers.
• Knowledge in ISO 9001 / ISO14001 / SA8000 will be in advantage.
• Familiar with AQL standards.
• Familiar with CE, BS, AUS, and ULinternational safety standards.
• Work independently and proactively.
• Good technique and experience in communicating with China manufacturers.
• Good communication skills and oral and written expression skills in English.
• Occasional travel to China is required.
