As a Quality Engineer you will be responsible for handling project quality gates according to project timeline, in Motion Business Area in Shanghai, China. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for advanced product quality planning.

Your responsibilities

• Working together with project team, being responsible for advanced product quality planning (APQP)
• Organizing and handling quality issue during 5 sections in APQP and document input and output
• Planning and defining project, product designing and developing, process designing and developing, product and process confirming, feedback/ evaluating and corrective action. Collecting/evaluating document for customer’s quality requirements for new project
• Evaluating and getting solution for the requirements from the rule of law, preparing related documents, following compellent authentication according to project timeline. Organizing a team to handle and solve quality issues before mass production Standard operating procedure (SOP)
• Handling and submitting Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to customer according to TS16949
• Working together with process engineer to do process analysis and prepare Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA), setting up control plan to do process capability study and submit Process Capability (CPK)/ Process Performance (PPK) report, working together with calibrator to do measurement system analysis and submitting MSA report
• Closely working together with SQE and process engineer

Your background

• 5 years of experience in quality management, working as Internal auditor for ISO 22163 & TS16949 in Rail transit industry or automobile industry will be an advantage
• Knowledge of quality tools such as APQP&CP, MSA,PPAP,FMEA,SPC,QC 7 tools, statistical methods and capability studies, good knowledge of most important VDA-standards will be an advantage
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma and must be familiar with system works such as: SAP, MES, ECS. PC literate, able to use Microsoft Office, sound presentation skills at all levels
• A bachelor’s degree or above, major in mechanical and electrical
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills to effectively work with a diverse group of people in a team, working in a cross functional environment and /or in a global culture
• Fluency in English both oral & written
• Must be honest, serious, concentrative, reliable and ethical
