This is what truly matters to us. Join our team now at Siemens Healthineers as a Quality Engineer 2 for the Laboratory Diagnostics Global Quality Management / Operational Quality organization. This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for: • In your activities you will provide the organization visibility of key process indicators through digitalized analysis / data reporting associated with supported applications and processes, as needed, e.g., Nonconformance investigations, CAPAs, Training, etc. • You will interface with multiple functions (internal customers) to understand the user needs and challenges. • You will support / lead validation efforts of operational quality applications. • This role is looked upon as the “Go-To” for users / process owners, providing solutions to inquiries, providing approved access to applications, and supporting the appropriate technical team. • Lastly, this role will draft / distribute communication of planned downtime, changes that impact applications and communicate across all levels of the organization. This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers • You have a minimum of 3 years in the medical device industry or relevant experience in an ISO 13485 environment, specifically focused on the CAPA / Nonconforming / Data Analysis areas. • Proficient in MS Office and knowledge of validation applications, ie. Team Foundation Server and HP ALM. • You will be working with our latest technology and therefore you are willing to learn about new software and hardware solutions. • Proficient in problem-solving methodology, collaborative and facilitate cross functional efforts and tools to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways as they apply to compliance issues. • Analyzes, summarizes, and interprets quality system data, draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations. Required skills to have for the success of this role • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required • Minimum of 3 years medical device or pharmaceutical experience • Able to work independently and travel as needed, which may include international travel.
