To find out more about us check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa_aiJ4L7E As a Quality Engineer, you will: Ensure the material and assemblies received at Eaton, Hengelo facility meets specifications and all applicable product quality, design and manufacturing requirements. Compile regular reports on key performance indicators for key suppliers based upon business and product risks Ensure supplier processes are robust and monitored; lead/ attend to supplier audits. Provide coordination & leadership in areas of incoming inspection, measurement equipment, sampling, process improvement. Partner with internal functions including Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering and Operations to define, develop, and implement improvements with suppliers in the areas of quality, process and total cost management. Your main responsibilities: Support overall sustaining receiving inspection including working with R&D, Engineering and suppliers on inspection methodology and techniques Create Test Method Validation Protocols/Reports for inspection equipment Develop and administer training to Inspection personnel on equipment and processes Support creation and maintenance of supplier related metrics to track supplier performance, identify and implement opportunities for supply chain improvements Responsible with supplier for the complete resolution of supplier related defects. This will be handled by complaint management software (WISPER, CAPA) with 8D, A3 approach As appropriate, provide input into the design and manufacturability of new products and coordinate activities with suppliers Demonstrate solid understanding of policies, procedures, and standards. Participate in projects as assigned including operations and/or R&D projects Support/ manage APQP plans for new products and processes Manage calibration of incoming inspection tools Establish and monitors 5S+ Establish and monitor Safety, EHS regulations, requirements in Incoming Good Inspection laboratories Coordinate the team of incoming inspection technicians Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Quality Management Knowledge of ISO standard, Inspection Sampling Plans, Measurement Systems and Equipment Verbal/written communication skills Computer and Software skills (Applications) Quality Engineering statistical tools. Strong problem-solving skills Effective interpersonal skills Use and understanding of Statistical Tools APQP knowledge & experience Knowledge of Test Method Validation, Gage R&R Knowledge of 5S+ Computer Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint) Ability to work in a collaborative and cross-functional team environment Good Oral and Written communication skills in Dutch and English What we offer you: Permanent contract in a fast-growing global company Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team Flexible working solutions (home office, remote, flexible working hours, part time etc.) are implemented across different EMEA locations, check out with the site HR what type of flexible working solution is available for this role.
