Monitor, plan and implement quality associated Continuous Improvement
Co-ordinate and resolve customer concerns in a timely manner
Drive the problem solving process (8D, 5Why, etc.) and lead the CFT
Provide and co-ordinate technical quality support to the production
Stop production in the event of production of unacceptable goods or processes
Organize containment activities at the customer
Regular reviews with internal and external customers on quality issues
Manage the quality function within the production area
Visit customer for the quality issue in the necessary case
Manage the process audit and line site review with related team member.
Organize the preparation of process & customer quality topic for the internal audit or external audit
Responsible contact for all customer quality issues
Adhere to internal and global escalation process
Collect, review and monitor customer and process quality data
Maintain clear, prompt communication with internal and external interface, to make sure efficient problem solving
Job requirements:
Degree level in Engineering discipline and relevant experience in similar role as Quality Engineer
Knowledge of 8D, 5-Why, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, VDA6.3, TS16949
Knowledge of Six Sigma, Project Management would be eligible
Good communication and negotiating skills, conflict resolution skills
Knowledge and application of a range of statistical techniques including SPC
Ability to understand engineering drawings and innovative approach for problem solving
Minimum of three to five years of automotive quality engineering experience. Working knowledge of plastic injection molding, stamping, assembly processes and automation is preferred
Experience in handling of customer communication
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and perform well without close supervision
English fluent in speaking and writing
