• Develop automation framework and scripts with Python for automation testing and implementation
• Participate in the test and product planning processes
• Conduct new feature research and design test cases on your own
• Carry out manual tests and deliver clear status for testing areas in a timely manner
• Document and advocate the resolution of new bugs with developers and communicate the impact on customers to developers and support
• Constantly learn new things and maintain an overview of current technologies
• Communicate with other globally distributed quality engineers and developers working on Red Hat Virtualization offerings
• Participate in product meetings with a QE perspective
• Work in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of professional experience or master's degree with 1+ year(s) of professional experience
• Ability to work with a team and use available resources to create innovative solutions
• Familiarity with a wide variety of operating system components, especially kernel, KVM, and oVirt
• Expertise designing, developing, and maintaining test environments and automated test suites
• Motivated with the ability to work under the pressure of deadlines
• Experience with software testing; development experience is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Professional experience with virtualization is a plus

• Active programming skills using Python
• Professional experience with the Linux operating system
• Knowledge of scrum or agile
• Knowledge of shell scripting
• Knowledge of Selenium
• Contributions to open source projects or publicly available code samples
