Job descriptions:

Quality assurance

• Define quality control plans for different finished goods (catering products, power- and handtools, welding machines, fitness equipment, wellness & beauty products, scales, etc.)
• Review all manufacturing processes at our suppliers according to the quality control plan
• Analyze production processes using 6Sigma tools
• Develop quality- and production-process improvement plans with suppliers and follow up implementation and execution
• Implement 8D-processes

Testing and Inspection

• Define inspection guidelines and checklists for new finished goods (see above)
• Decide, check and use the correct test equipment for new products
• Test the products and compile the evaluation report
• Inspect finished goods after mass production according to inspection instructions
• Check, measure and evaluate finished goods according to specifications such as CE and UL

General tasks

• Communicate with the suppliers in China and the technical department in Europe
• Supplier complaints handling and analysis
• Communicate to the authorized labs of 3rd parties such as DEKRA, Bureau Veritas, TUV, SGS and INTERTEK to solve/test the electrical safety issues.

Your profile:

• At least 7 years’ experience in the area of quality management, preferably in the electrical/electronic/machinery field
• Proven working experience with quality management tools such as 6Sigma, SPC, QRQC
• Ability to understand customers’ technical standards and requests quickly
• Proficiency in CE-certificates (MD, LVD, EMC and RoHS) would be a plus
• Willingness to travel within China
• Good command of written and oral English
• Excellent team work and working well under pressure
