As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for: You will participate in assigned projects related to Quality Assurance, Digitalization, Data Analysis, Process Improvement, Change Control as they relate to key efforts for the laboratory diagnostics instrument manufacturing site. All projects are designed to add permanent value to the organization. You will support the development, monitoring and reporting of Quality Systems key performance indicators (KPIs). You will work closely with document control and change control for development of new processes/procedures or revision of existing work instructions. You will gain exposure to company’s Quality Management System, risk management, test methods, nonconformance, quality control processes, field service processes, and product line support and learn how to work in a regulated environment. You will develop operations business acumen and skills such as data collection and analysis, complex problem solving through exposure to production issues and investigations, as well as collaboration with a cross-functional team. You will gain exposure to validation including protocol generation, validation execution, and report completion. This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers You have a good PC skills with the ability to adapt and utilize business-related systems such as MS Excel, SAP, Minitab, PowerBI, QlikView. You will be working with our latest technology and therefore you are willing to learn about new software and hardware solutions. You have very good presentation and communication skills that are necessary to communicate well at different levels of a matrix organization. You are well-versed at prioritizing work and managing multiple tasks as needed, good attention to detail, time management, data analysis, and strong problem-solving skills. Required skills to have for the success of this role Pursuing completion of a Bachelor’s or Master's Engineering degree, with a focus on mechanical, electrical, industrial, or biomedical engineering preferred. Willing to work both virtually and on-site at the primary location in Flanders, NJ for the duration of the internships. Strong desire and motivation to develop a career in manufacturing/operations/medical device industry. 3.0 GPA preferred Must have permanent work authorization Start date: Summer 2023; 3-8 month duration.
