Job Responsibilities Manages a small to medium-sized team responsible for the definition, planning and management of Quality Engineering efforts with a focus on test automation, including the use of contemporary tools (e.g., Cucumber, Gherkin) and techniques (e.g., message-based APIs). Provides technical guidance to assigned team. Manages overall Quality Engineering effort. Develops and monitors project plans and budgets. Presents reports, communications and Quality Engineering training materials providing recommendations for actions necessary to achieve desired results. Continuously improves the Efficiency of the Automation using innovative technologies and thought process in specific areas of influence. Solves Complex Automation Challenges spanning multiple technologies in a scalable & extensible manner with least amount of maintenance. Ensures team members are adhering to procedures and policies when selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Participates in the recruiting process; instructs, assigns, directs and reviews the work of other quality assurance/testing analysts; prepares performance reviews and provides ongoing feedback. Manages a Quality Engineering team. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives including achievement of GCCS and Quality Engineering Group objectives.
