Job Description
Quality Excellence Coordinator Tom Pudding Lane, Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire Siemens is creating its first UK based Rail Industry Hub on the outskirts of Goole in the East Riding of Yorkshire. With an initial contract to assemble nearly 50 trains to service the Piccadilly Line on the London Underground we are starting to recruit up to 300 skilled technical and support colleagues at in our brand new Manufacturing Facility. In the near future follow-on work is expected to bring this number of trains into the hundreds, along with an expansion on the site into maintenance and overhaul activities displaying a long-term commitment to the area and growth in employment and career opportunities. The successful applicant for this role will be responsible for leading on Quality Excellence for our manufacturing facility. You will directly support our Head of Quality in ensuring that the right ISO certification is implemented and maintained, establishing Quality Processes, providing timely reporting of Key Performance Indicators, undertaking of 8D and Business Improvement activity, you will work closely with the wider Quality team. This role would suit an experienced Lead Auditor with some experience with Integrated Management Systems and the implementation of a Quality Systems within a complex Production environment. What part will you play? To be successful in this role you should be able to demonstrate: Experience in Integrated Management Systems having had experience of implementation of new IMS working under ISO9001:2015, ISO45001, ISO14001 Experience of leading an internal & external audit programme, with the ability to organise, plan and manage information and people Experience of improvement tasks associated with audit to bring about closure to actions and improvements to the business Experience in implementing new Quality systems within an organisation Experience of KPI creation and collation and presentation It would also be helpful to have experience of the following: Suitable experience of having worked independently with Integrated Management Systems within a production environment, with international and rail industry experience advantageous.
