Job Description
Role in the company:
The position makes sure that everything from raw materials to finished products meets quality and safety standards specified in the purchasing documentation that have been agreed between the company and supplier by carrying out inspection and appropriate testing.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Make enough preparation before inspection like check order, study approve sample and discuss with related PU or experienced QC.
2. Inspect products as company arrangement.
3. Keep close communicating with PU & Senior Quality Manager by both phone and email whenever found quality problem onsite.
4. Ensure that expected quality of items, packing and artwork is met according to company's order's technical specification sheets and requirements.
5. Ensure that required shipping marks (packing marks) are correct.
6. Look for errors in comparison with order's technical specification sheets and requirements together with PU's approved sample. Initiate and supervise corrections.
7. Check certificate and testing report if needed.
8. Issue inspection reports timely and correctly, and accurately describing the true state of product in question.
9. Submit correct and clean travel and entertainment report once back to office.
10. Scan inspection report and save under public.
11. Observe company's purchasing market movements and by doing so support purchasing staff in sourcing and purchasing matters.
12. Do factory check.
13. Support PU in preparing all data for supplier evaluation.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or higher,
2. 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably gained in multinational companies,
3. Good interpersonal & communication skills with pleasant personality,
4. High proficiency in English communication & correspondence,
5. Good computer skills (e.g., Microsoft office) and office equipment knowledge,
6. Be comfortable to travel around in China to visit our suppliers.
