• Functional Job Duties:

  • Read the project specification/Standard and understand the requirement.
  • Review the relevant fabrication procedure documents.
  • Review the MTR of receiving material.
  • Material receiving inspection.
  • Perform the daily inspection in the workshop, in the whole process of the material, fabrication, assembly, coating and packing.
  • Finish the required records after inspection.
  • Willing to wear the necessary PPE required and assure to work under the HSE requirement.

  Qualifications:

  • 2~5 years’ experience in Quality Control.
  • Ability to read fabrication drawings, customer specification, relevant standards.
  • Knowledge of petrochemical equipment fabrication.
  • Ability to read WPS/PQR.
  • Ability to operate the basic inspection tools.
  • Experience of the fabrication of steel structure or pressure vessels is preferred.
  • Familiar with one or more of the following Standards: AWS, ASME, and GB/SH/HG code applied in the field of Petro/Chemical equipment fabrication and construction, is preferred.
  • Experience conducting coating inspection of SSPC, NACE & ISO specifications is preferred.
  • NDE Level II qualification in one or more of the RT, UT, MT, PT and PMI is preferred.
  • Good English reading and written skills.
  • Strong basic computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • CWI is preferred.

  Mental Requirements:

  Must work independently to insist on quality firmly. Must work smart for any findings. Must be willing to learn the new knowledge.

  Physical Requirements:

  Must be able to tolerate shop environment and exposures associated with welding and industrial equipment manufacturing and apply appropriate safety equipment when required. Must be able to work overtime as required. Must not present a risk of injury to self or others while engaged in company duties.
