In this role, you have the opportunity to

support Markets and Global Business Services functions to always do the right thing. Your challenge will be to drive transformation programs for the 17 Markets, Global Business Services and Functions in scope. Ensuring an effective utilization of data to drive dedicated improvements whist maintaining an audit ready state.

You are responsible for

  • Setup rigor Quality Planning programs for the 17 Markets and the relevant Global Business Services and Functions.

  • Prioritize and manage Quality Management System (QMS) transition programs for compliance improvements and Philips driven End to End transition programs, while maintaining compliance and effectiveness throughout the duration of the transition.

  • Manage and develop the International Markets transformation team (4 people), including operational objectives and work plans

  • Report on progress of QMS programs and related KPIs

  • Driving compliance and/or LEAN improvements in the area of QMS transitions.

  • Leading and processing related systemic CAPAs across all Markets and functions.

  • Liaison to Global Q&R Group Function, Market/Global Business Services Q&R and/or Business Q&R Leaders

  • Participate in the preparation and the execution of audits and Management Reviews

You are a part of

The Philips QMS Markets Central Team plans, controls and manages relevant QMS activities for all 17 Markets worldwide within Philips. This includes Personal Health, Precision Diagnosis, Diagnosis and Treatment, and Connected Care. The core business of the Markets is the Sales, Marketing, Distribution, Installation and Servicing of Philips medical and non-medical devices and solutions designed & manufactured by the Philips Businesses.

The PQMS Markets Central team consist of 30 QMS professionals mainly based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. You will be reporting directly to the Head of PQMS Markets.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Specific skill requirements for this role:

  • 7+ years’ experience with QMS within a worldwide medical device company, automotive, aerospace, food or pharma company.

  • A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016 and 21 CFR 820. (preference)

  • Program management experience, leading programs and projects where not directly responsible for all required deliverables

  • Strong leadership experience: leading a team within an international matrix organization, influencing without authority and working closely with executive leadership

  • Professional written and oral communication skills across all levels of the organization

  • Accurate, superior planning, problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills with attention to detail and follow-through.

  • Able to proactively and independently resolve issues in creative ways

  • Able to analytically assess impact to the Markets OneQMS and the local organizations of changes applicable to the Markets

  • Flexible in working hours due to the regional/global scope

  • A hands-on mentality

  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English

  • Training in Lean and Lean Methodologies is a plus
