WHAT WE OFFER

1. Planning, organizing and controlling of the laboratory operations in view of the targets for product quality, safety and environment protection; evaluation and statistical analysis of test results(SQC), troubleshooting;

2. Implementing global quality policies, establishing and implementing local quality procedures, Working Instructions;

3. Ensure correct recipes for production and efficient recipes adjustments, MOC / UTA / Q-number system are followed for recipe changes;

4. Create the equipment plan and apply for equipment investment and maintenance; Ensure have all needed and reliable equipment for tests, response for equipment PM and calibration(internally and externally), follow SPC / Round Robin and verifications, etc.;

5. Ensure Lab tests are conducted in proper and efficient ways, responsible for finish goods release, quality data SAP/MES/LIMS maintenance and compliance; be accountable for release decision in case of ambiguity;

6. Cooperate with global quality management team and other PCS production sites, ensure effective and efficient complaint investigation and implement related corrective actions and preventive actions on time;

7. Identify training demands, set up, implement and maintain training concept for laboratory team, ensure sustainable testing competency;

8. Support HSEQ in passing ISO external audits (ISO9001 and 14001); supervise the implementation of CA and PA from audit findings; ensure gaps are closed in an effective way; Lead Lab’s Lean Six Sigma projects and other continuous programs.

Work Relations:

Internal:• Production: Daily production discussion, quality control and quality improvement and customer complaints• Color Competence Center: Formulation/color recipe management• SCM: Material release, material transportation, customer complaints• BD: FGs sales release / Support for arranging special testing for customer / method development, product certificate• RPM: new product trial arrangement / quick release• Other PCS lab: analytical method sharing, quality issue discussion• Procurement: new RM registration in GSLO, supplier audit, RM complaint• TPQM: round robin test coordination, product audit

External: • Raw Material Suppliers: Raw material quality tracing and complaint; new supplier development and validation• Customers: Customer complaint management• Equipment / Hardware/Software Suppliers: Identify best available solution for laboratory and quality systems and possible implementation whenever possible

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or above in chemical analysis, chemical engineering, material science• At least 5 years relevant experience in Chemistry or Compounding. International experience preferred. Deep knowledge of quality control, instrumental analysis.• Above 3 years in a managerial / supervisory position in quality management or Compounding.• Good ability to train, orient and evaluate the job performance of employees.• Independent, Good inter-person communication and decision making.• Strong problem-solving and systematic analytical skills.• Good command of MS Office software, experience with SAP in an advantage.• Good command of English, in reading, writing and oral communication.• Consistency of performance under pressure and challenges• Strong initiative and self-motivated.
