Your role

Devise and establish quality procedures, standards & documentation, and specifications for laser products to ensure quality2. Work with Product Engineering, Sourcing and Manufacturing to establish quality requirements for external suppliers

Monitor performance by gathering relevant data, as well as produce SPC reports

Provide support for released products, evaluate product field performance and reliability and recommend corrective and preventive actions

Lead, select and develop of people, resources, and budget necessary to perform the functions of the quality department. Adapt the team’s functions as business situation requires.

Set team goals and tasks based on department goals and other TCN initiatives and ensure their achievement by developing innovative ideas and solutions to problems.

Continuously improve the team’s processes by eliminating waste, solving quality problems and encouraging employee participation.

Ensure safety standards.

Ensure effective and in time implementation of engineering changes.

Support to complete other tasks assigned

Your profile

Master degree in Laser/optical engineering, optoelectronic engineering, physics or related

5 or more years of relevant work experience in volume production of lasers/lasecomponents

Solid relevant technical background in manufacturing of lasers / laser components

Experience in quality management & control, ISO9001 certification, auditing, lean production methods

Demonstrated problem solving skill, very good communication, coordination skill and project management skill

Proficient in MS Office (Word, PPT, Excel) and ideally SAP R/3

Demonstrated strong organizational skills and the ability to lead and to gain the respect of other employees

Be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Sets good example of commitment and loyalty

Chinese as native language and Fluent in English
