Applied Materials EPG (Equipment Product Group) operations group is responsible for production of equipment and non system orders for 200mm Semi, legacy Semi metrology and inspection, solar inspection and Mask equipment globally in the AGS(Applied Global Services) product portfolio. EPG operations supports refurbishment, new systems, new product and upgrades for the ICAPS business unit focused on growth in the IOT, communications, automotive, power and sensor product markets. Our EPG team collaborates with customers globally including customers in Taiwan to meet critical equipment needs, solve manufacturing challenges, and make equipment more productive. The growth in ICAPS markets has led to great new opportunities in the 200mm product space and the opportunity for factory expansion in Taiwan to build and ship EPG products for our customers in Taiwan and globally.
Now we are looking for one strong talent who can be our Quality Manager responsible for customer quality (coordinating with key customers and field service team) to improve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Plans, coordinates, and directs quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards: Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
Formulates and maintains quality control objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
Directs, through intermediate personnel, workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability.
May investigate customer complaints regarding quality
Document findings of improvements and faults in products and services
Ensure that the product or service meets client's required criteria. Create and follow goals to achieve high standards. Reassure quality performance within his organization. Ensure product or service is legally compliant
Exercises responsibility for employee coaching, mentoring, training, development, and motivating supervised employees. Guides activities to improve process capability within the group.
