Purpose of the Job:

• Establish, maintain and improve the quality system based on photovoltaic (PV) and semiconductor business standards in order to safeguard and continuously improve the quality level of the products
  • Take charge of all the quality activities in plant level
  • Treat the customer complaints
  • Facilitate TQM projects implemented in plant level
    

Your Role

• Quality Management system. Establish and maintain the ISO system, organize internal audit and ensure this quality system is passed per year and running in right and effective way
  

• Product performance: measured by number of claims and complaints
  • Be responsible for the half products (HP) and finish products (FP) testing. This includes to define the test procedures, frequency and finally release the products in line with the customer requirements and specifications. These specifications need to be handled and maintained and linked to the correct SKUs
  • Be responsible for checking correct implementation of SOPs and product production, testing & control, and packing procedures
    

• Documentation system. Be responsible for setting up and maintaining the documentation system in accordance with the guidelines of ISO9001 and IATF16949. This includes formats, registration, distribution of all plant operating procedures etc.
  

• Complaints handling / technical support for customers
  • To take care of the registration, the investigation, conclusions and corrective actions for custom claims
  • To track the follow up action to maintain the improving performance
  • To give the technical service to the sales representatives
    

• Process audits. To conduct together with the Technical Department frequent process audits on production for each machine group and sub-processes, so as to ensure the proper operation done by production people as per process documents and SOPs
  

• Entrance control for raw materials. Be responsible for setting up, implementing and managing the Entrance Control system for incoming goods including raw materials and auxiliary materials
  

• Sample handling & follow up. To investigate the sample request from sales people, together with the process engineer. They share responsibility for the manufacturing and testing of the sample
  

• Packaging and materials. Be responsible for packaging design for all products, including formulating all purchasing specification for each packing materials
  

• Lab Management
  • Work closely together with the central lab management in Hongtong Road Plant (BBAP) of BBSC (Bekaert Bingjiang Steel Cord Co., Ltd.) for 'standard' testing (e.g. SEM, torsion tests, tensile tests, ...)
  • Be responsible for lab management for special DW lab testing, including the important test and trail and the HR arrangement for this special lab
    

• Test equipment control. Be responsible for the application and arrangement for test equipment and measure meter, including monitor Meter Calibration
  

• Customer audit and third part audit. Be responsible for customer audits and third part audit including the follow up of corrective actions
  

• Facilitate TQM projects. Be responsible for the facilitation of TQM projects in plant level
  

• Quality training
  • Be responsible for the training for new employees and new sales people during quality control segment
  • Be responsible to guarantee the knowledge level and skills of the QA team is up to date and according to the business needs
    

Context Description & Dimensions

• Context
  • High complexity due to the vitality of the PV industry and because of the short product life cycles in this industry
  • We are in the middle of a product technology switch from loose abrasive sawing wire to diamond wire. The operations of the diamond wire production need to be developed from scratch in a very short time
  • High complexity since we not only sell to the PV industry but we also are progressing to re-enter the semi-conduct business which has high standards and requirements towards quality management
  • The sawing wire operations in 2018 will have a headcount of around 300 people and we target to support a sales of 59million EUR

  • Job holder works in a clean, ergonomic and air-conditioned environment
    

• Dimensions
  • 10-15 employee will report to this position holder. This role will take care of all SW and DW sales
  • One plant operations at BBAP, with global sales and both Chinese and international customers (Europe, Japan etc.)
  • Products for PV industry, Semi-conduct industry, and special niche businesses
    

Your Profile

• Bachelor degree and a major in metal materials, mechanical, chemical, or electronical engineering
• At least 5 years experience in quality management, with experience in semi-conduct will be a plus
• An in-depth knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9000 series)
• An in-depth knowledge of automotive industry systems (ISO/IFTA16949) or semiconductor industry systems and quality management procedures
• Eager to learn new things and continuously looks for improvements in all plant related aspects, whether technical or managerial
• Can work accurate and make a good judgment about what are priorities and what’s not
• Good analytical skills and approaches and solves problems in an accurate, systematic way
• Good communications skills and is capable to defend his/her opinion and explain his/her reasoning in an efficient way (short and to the point)
• Good English both in oral and written to make sure to have smooth and good communication with senior management and with headquarter
