Job Description
Eaton’s CRDS Residential Division is currently seeking for a Quality Manufacturing Process Sr Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Haina facility Assure process control thru monitor of process performance metrics (Yield, Cpk); accountable for quality performance by monitoring and lead quality efforts to improve process performance and reduce variation among the production process. Making improvements in the quality procedures, and develop innovations to improve productivity and reduce product costs. Follow up and track thru PFMEA failure modes and root causes analysis to prevent potential issues. Support and lead problem solving activities as result of poor perfomance of key metrics under responsability yield and cpk. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain performance metrics as required to monitor results and uses as tool to identify and initiate process improvements within manufacturing facility Coordinate leverage resources, such as maintenance, materials, scheduling, logistics and engineering to resolve quality issues and / or improve process. Prepare report and presentation to monitor and improve the metrics that impact Quality indicators such as: Yield performance and Cpk. . Collect and maintain Historic data control (statistics of products) to support and determine quality issue and root cause. Creating the necessary infrastructure to meet process capability index established by EQMS and develop action plans for those processes that do not meet this standard. Supervise, improve and monitor metrics or measures of capacity as indicators of production processes such as Yield, Scrap, Productivity Efficiency. Keep PFMEA actualize with unusual conditions of the production process, as specified by the EQMS. Play an active participation in the Departmental Teams. Perform root cause analysis - support problem solving and continuous improvement efforts by bringing attention to quality problems, participating on improvement teams, and working with front end, design, quality and production personnel to resolve problems. Analyze data to identify key detractors of Scrap, Rework & Warranty and then implement Error Proofing solutions to achieve reduced CONC costs. Lead 8D Teams and corrective action activities. Use data analysis software (i.e. Excel, Power BI & Minitab). Analyze nonconforming products in production process and take corrective action. Drive plant preventative actions (PFMEA, CPK). Develop and implemete corrective actions using 8D, A3, and other lean tools to support initiatives around the reduction of FPY. Analyze non conforming products in production process and take corrective actions FPY. Drive efforts to increase FPY; monitor and trend non conforming data and review / share with staff and others. #LI-MM3 Qualifications Bachelor’s degree on industrial, electrical or electromechanical engineering, or other related science. a. Preferable Post grade degree in Quality, Productivity, engineering or others related science. 3 years in similar positions.
