In this role, you have the opportunity to

Work closely with our Buyer and Supplier Quality teams to ensure incoming components and related material, meet out quality standards. You will ensure all FDA requirements have been met, in order to release our components and materials to the warehouse.

You are responsible for

  • The inspection and testing of incoming components and related materials, used in the manufacturing and packaging of Philips medical devices.

  • Executing material movements in SAP and perform other Quality Control related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

  • Following FDA and ISO requirements within the regulated manufacturing environment.

  • Correctly completing inspection and test documentation within SAP.

  • Sorting non-conforming material and deciding on disposition.

  • Understanding and adequately following the document control system, as it pertains to engineering drawings.

You will be reporting directly to the Supervisor of Quality Assurance.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • High School Diploma or GED (REQUIRED)

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

  • Experience working with a Tier 1 ERP system ( SAP a plus)

  • Ability to recognize problems/defects and providing feedback to all levels of production, quality and engineering personnel

  • Demonstrated proficiency in reading, math, written skills and manual dexterity

  • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing

  • This position requires frequent standing on a continuous basis in order to move efficiently to other work areas, frequent lifting up to 10 pounds, occasional lifting up to 40 pounds, ability to reach, and ability to use fine manipulation skills.

  • Prior inspection experience utilizing test and measurement equipment and sampling plans (preferred)

  • Experience with printed circuit board inspection standards (preferred)
