In this role, you have the opportunity to

Work on the production floor and hand in hand with production team who are building our medical devices. You will ensure all FDA requirements have been met, in order to release our medical devices for use.

You are responsible for

  • Final inspection and release procedures for products manufactured in support of the RIMR and RIST facilities, including patient interface and electro mechanical manufacturing lines.

  • Performing basic inspection, test and measurement of products, as well as subassemblies and reviewing device history records.

  • Reading Bill of Materials to identify product components, while accurately following specifications and procedures.

  • Assisting production personnel with resolving DHR and inspection issues.

  • Helping QA and Operation personnel identify quarantine and segregate defective/suspect products and materials using, the Non- Conforming procedures, QN process in SAP, etc.

  • Ensuring DHR and eDHR, test/inspection records, and other applicable documents are complete, accurate and comply with the final release procedures.

  • Striving for continuous improvement, be team oriented, communicate suggestions and concerns, generate solutions, be flexible, and provide positive interaction and feedback with peers and internal departments atmeetings.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • High School Diploma or GED (REQUIRED)

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

  • Experience working with a Tier 1 ERP system ( SAP a plus)

  • Ability to recognize problems/defects and providing feedback to all levels of production, quality and engineering personnel

  • Demonstrated proficiency in reading, math, written skills and manual dexterity

  • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing

  • This position requires frequent standing on a continuous basis in order to move efficiently to other work areas, frequent lifting up to 10 pounds, occasional lifting up to 40 pounds, ability to reach, and ability to use fine manipulation skills.
