Purpose of job

• This position works closely with the Group Manager in performing the day to day work as designated, in order to identify shortfalls and enhance compliance.

Primary duties and responsibilities

• Assist in revision, digitalization and upkeep of SMS system, allocating control numbers, etc
• Arrange calling cards as per ships request
• Prepare expense vouchers against invoices
• Prepare all consignments to be dispatched by courier / ordinary mail
• Assist in takeover of vessels through preparing & dispatching Manuals / Stationary to the vessels
• Assist in any ad-hoc matters as assigned by Manager

Education / experience / skills required

• Degree holder with 2 years of relevant work experience
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications
• Fluent in written and spoken English is a MUST
• Strong team player with a positive working attitude
