Objective of job
- Support the Quality Management and claims team to achieve business target.
- Be in charge of claims parts inspection, damage parts management as well as vendor claim submission in the responsible location.
- Implement the quality assurance process within DPTS.
- Close communication with relevant parties for parts claim and quality assurance issues.

Task description
- Claim and Quality Assurance Process
- Implement vendor claim process according to policies and standards along the spare parts supply chain and coordinate with relevant parties to process daily claims.
- Develop DPTS quality assurance process in PDCs in order to fulfill the requirements of Daimler parts quality.
- Set up the Claims and Teile Info process with suppliers to ensure quality standards and product liability.
- Parts Inspection and Quality Control
- Implement stock parts quality inspection, inbound QC control parts inspection, and dealer claim parts inspection according to working instructions.
- Review and update the incoming parts inspection standards and test methods.
- Identify and follow up the parts/package quality issues.
- Interaction with relative parties
- Handle daily inquiries from internal department and external, such as CR, IE, IM, TQC and suppliers.
- Coordinate with relative parties such as, PDC operation staffs, TQC and suppliers to fulfill daily business requirements and ensure the processes and standards are in line with each other.
- Process Monitoring and Optimization
- Implement the quality escalation process and support supplier improvement measure by monitoring the performance.
- Optimize the claim and quality assurance processes in accordance with the business requirements.
- Conduct the risk assessment, root cause analysis and continuous improvement with the parties in the whole supply chain of DPTS.
- Cross Department Coordination
- Training blue collars for quality inspections and lead blue collars to implement the inspection tasks.
- Guide and provide trainings to blue collars for proper handling of parts from claim investigation point of view.
- Negotiate with the vender for a mutual aligned claim result to avoid the loss of DPTS.
- Process and Audit Fulfillment
- Ensure that the target agreement is successfully fulfilled.
- Make sure all processes and activities are in line with audit requirements.
